Kalin Fraker is a cum laud graduate from NC State University with a B.S. in Animal Science and minor in Agribusiness. She began riding in South Florida at the age of eight taking dressage lessons at a local barn. At age nine, she moved with her family to North Carolina and began working and riding at a small schooling barn. Horsemanship came naturally to Kalin, from the very beginning, she was an advocate for the horse. Kalin always puts the care of the horse first which wasn't easy in a schooling barn. This is why her first schooling pony, May, now 27 years old, is living the best life in her backyard.

Kalin has trained and competed successfully in hunters, jumpers, dressage and eventing. She has trained under local and international trainers. As a youth she rode for Bluewater Farm IEA team in Florida under Lynne Buckhalter, and Pleasant Hill IEA, 4H and Barn show teams under Cammie Fielding. As an adult, she was a working student at 3H Equestrian Center in Florida managing a stable of over 50 horses and trained with Fernando Cardenas Sr. She trained with Juliana Zunde in Hillsborough for over a year and currently lessons with Harold Chopping in Southern Pines. Most recently Kalin spent a month in Wellington, FL training with five-time U.S. Show Jumping Olympian Anne Kursinski. Kalin believes, as a trainer and instructor, continuing education is very important. She continues to further her education and knowledge by finding opportunities to learn from top trainers and bringing those experiences back to her students.

She is also currently pursuing her USEF and ARIA Certification in Dressage and Hunter/Jumper.

Horsemanship and a strong foundation in the basics is how Kalin brings her students up through the levels. Along with constructive encouragement, positive reinforcement, and leading by example, Kalin's riders will have a fun, successful, and safe equestrian experience. The health and well being of horse and rider are Kalin's priorites.
